I've been looking for a good satellite TV affiliate program for a while, and I think this could be it. I have looked at a number of other programs in this area, but preferred this one, because:

I liked the web site better than the others (and my guess is that it would convert better than some of their rivals)
I liked the offline promotion system
I liked the commission structure
I liked the tracking features
And because one of the competitor's programs that I considered seemed to have quite a lot of consumer complaints posted at Rip off Report.com. (Please note: I have no way to judge the merits of these complaints, and am NOT saying they are necessarily valid complaints... I simply felt that I'd prefer to promote a program which didn't seem to have any complaints listed there, rather than a program which at the time I reviewed it had 4 pages of complaints).

Okay, let's review the detail...

In this affiliate program you earn $30 to $110 per sale for referring new customers to DishPronto. The amount of commission varies depending on how many customers you refer per month, and what product they choose.

The affiliate's area offers a wide array of promotional materials you can use such as banners, etc., as well as an excellent statistics page to see your results. The statistics allow you to track the performance of each of your individual marketing campaigns for the affiliate program, which is an excellent and useful feature, especially if you are considering pay per click search engine or AdWords advertising.

One unusual feature of this program, is that they encourage you to promote offline as well as online. The way the offline promotion works, is your affiliate ID also acts as a "Promo Code": when customers call the company's 1-800 number, they are asked for this code, and the sale is credited to your affiliate account. Very clever!

DishPronto makes excellent use of this "Promo Code" feature: for example, their web site includes the 1-800 to call, with text reminding the customer to give the "Promo Code", and their affiliates' area even includes printable flyers, including your "Promo Code" that you can use for offline promotion.

It seems to me that these features together, particularly in view of the excellent commissions per sale, offer a superb affiliate opportunity for:

For owners of high traffic web sites
For pay per click search engine or AdWords advertisers
For individuals, or store owners, who are in a position to give out flyers in their local area. (please note: the satellite service is only available in the USA).

I should also quickly note that this program is two tier: You get $10 for each of your referrals' sales. Of course, if you can get up a substantial number of sign-ups yourself (which shouldn't be that hard if you go the flyers or advertising routes), this is likely to much less than your own direct commissions, but it's still a nice bonus to have.
