MyTemplate storage allows you to sell web templates and a number of related items on your site:
- TemplateMonster website templates.
You earn 20% commission on sales of these templates.
- Template Tuning customization services on web templates.
You earn 25% commission on sales of these services.
- Site2You which is a user-friendly advanced website builder.
You earn 30% commission on sales of this.
The heart of the program is TemplateMonster
website templates (several thousand different templates), and is ideal for web hosting companies, sites about
web design/development, and so on.
The best feature of this program is the tremendous number of linking options that you are given, particularly for
the TemplateMonster
templates. Some of these include:
- Text links.
- Banners.
- The ability to display template thumbnails on your site using JavaScript provided by the program.
The JavaScripts are very powerful and allow users to browse through the templates as if the template
shop is on your site (and what's more you can even make it so the display is neutral-branded, so it's
not immediately obvious that you are linking off site).
- A "WEB API" for advanced affiliates (basically a datafeed plus more, such as the ability
to inquire on the status of orders). With the right script, this allows you to retrieve all the templates, and
achieve a real deep integration. You can see my example integration in the

The affiliate program has a very active discussion forum for affiliates, and is of course free to join.
Finally I should mention that the program is 2-tier. You can use the "supervisor" program to refer
other affiliates, and if you refer any, you get 25% of their earnings.
We joined this program in late July 2005, we thought that it seemed to have a lot of potential.
For our sites, at least, we were right: We've been making fairly regular sales
(and therefore earning commissions) -
and have now received commission payment from the company.
